Cities of the world
There are so many cities in the world. They developed from little villages. First only a few people lived in these cities but the time passed and new and new people arrived to these villages turning them into highly-populated megalopolises.
And cities changed from century to century reflecting the main social events of the world history. Architecture of every building and monument may tell a lot about history, people and the development of the nation picturing its image, culture, interests, etc.
With the development of technology and science cities became even bigger and first skyscrapers appeared covering the whole city with numerous lights and colours.
But some cities were left and later forgotten by people. The phantom-cities were left by their population in the result of some catastrophe or with unknown reasons. And these reasons may be different from logical to completely baseless and stupid. And till nowadays people don't know why people give preference to certain cities forgetting others.
Modern city may give everything people may want in the modern world. Numerous restaurants, well-equipped modern apartments and houses, fashionable shops and malls are only the part of luxury cities may give. Casinos, discos, bars, beauty salons, trade centres and many other places to entertain and t have a rest are concentrated in megalopolises and attract a lot of people from all parts of the world.
Big industrial centres were growing developing technology and industry of the country and giving essential part to the budget of the country. The only disadvantage of these cities was the air, water pollution as well as damage of the wild nature.
Despite it new cities appear spreading so much that they unite with other smaller cities turning them into their suburbs. Some people prefer to live in small villages and towns; others prefer living the modern hurrying life of modern cities.
